KICB invests in “Development Centers on Jailoo”
In 2025, KICB continues to implement its key corporate social responsibility priorities by supporting initiatives that help unlock the potential of the younger generation. The “Development Centers on Jailoo” program provides access to early childhood education for children during the summer months directly on high-altitude pastures.
Since 2014, the “Rosa Otunbayeva Initiative” International Public Foundation has been implementing this program to support preschool education for children living in the most remote and mountainous regions of the country. Throughout the summer, educational camps are established across Kyrgyzstan — from the border areas of Batken to the pastures of Issyk-Kul and Naryn. These centers equip children with essential early learning skills — literacy, speech development, logical thinking, creativity, and life skills — to prepare them for successful entry into primary school.
The funds provided by KICB are used to purchase educational materials, children’s books, stationery, and developmental games. The financing also covers logistics to ensure the delivery of resources to remote camps. All activities are carried out in line with the Bank’s ESG policy and the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
KICB’s support for the “Development Centers on Jailoo” reflects the Bank’s consistent commitment to societal development. Investing in early childhood education is not only about helping children today — it is an investment in the secure future of every child and the long-term prosperity of the nation. Such initiatives lay the foundation for a strong, educated generation and remain a key focus of the Bank’s social responsibility.
