KICB Sponsored the Tourism Revenue Hackathon
The Tourism Revenue Hackathon became a platform for ideas and solutions aimed at developing the tourism industry and increasing its profitability. Participants worked on projects focused on improving services, enhancing convenience for tourists, and introducing digital technologies.
The hackathon was organized by the public fund We Fund and the venture studio Startup Lab 119, with support from the High Technology Park of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Tourism Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic. KICB acted as an official partner and one of the event’s sponsors.
The teams demonstrated a high level of preparation and presented projects with strong practical potential. The jury particularly highlighted the quality of the ideas and their relevance to the tourism sector.
The grand prize of USD 5,000, provided by KICB, was awarded to the TaalAI project. This solution transforms a mobile phone into a personal travel assistant, helping users quickly find routes, locations, and useful services.
The TaalAI team shared how they managed to go from idea to a ready product in just 48 hours. Participants also expressed their gratitude to KICB for its support and trust in new ideas.
By supporting such initiatives, KICB contributes to the development of tourism, technology, and the country’s economy.
