KICB participates in the “Development Centers in Jailoo” Project

       

Education is a significant value for the development of society. Investments in children's education are high-quality and long-term investments.

Since 2014, the IPF “Roza Otunbaeva’s Initiative” has been implementing the initiative “Kindergartens in Jailoo”, transformed into “Development Centers in Jailoo” for the development of preschool children whose families are on pastures in the summer. Each year, “Development Centers in Jailoo” provide a wide range of educational activities, including literacy programs and life skills training, to more than

3 000 children in the country's most remote and high-altitude regions during the summer months. Participating in this initiative, CJSC “Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank” (KICB) has financed 4 children's development centers, providing them with office supplies.

This is not the first project within the framework of the implementation of KICB corporate social responsibility, carried out since its foundation.

Every year, participating in the “Green Foundation Project” together with the International Foundation “Roza Otunbaeva’s Initiatives”, KICB planted 18 600 trees in schools and kindergartens over 12 years. This program was created with the aim of combating climate change, preserving biodiversity and creating green spaces in cities and border areas.

Expanding the scope of participation in the projects of the IPF “Roza Otunbaeva’s Initiative”, KICB took part in the project “Development Centers in Jailoo”. The aim of the project is to create conditions for the development of children - livestock farmers and their parents in remote high-mountain regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Over the years of work of the Development Centers in Jailoo, thousands of children have had the opportunity to prepare for school and develop creatively. Also, master classes in various areas are constantly held for children and parents. Many of them have the opportunity for the first time in their lives to see a children's puppet theater, performances of various theater groups, akyns, writers, athletes or coaches in various sports, learn to play chess, try to draw, make appliques, sing and dance. More than 150 teachers, volunteers of various organizations, and parents work with children in the high mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan every year.
