KICB and EBRD to finance the development of Planeta Trade Service LLC
On March 24, 2026, the Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank (KICB), in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), signed a loan agreement with Planeta Trade Service LLC.
The financing will support the company’s further growth, enhance its operational efficiency, and increase sales turnover.
The signing ceremony was attended by Almaz Toigonbaev- Regional Director for Manufacturing and Services at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD); Arif Ali - Chief Executive Officer of KICB CJSC; and Sergey Poltavtsev - Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Planeta Trade Service LLC.
Founded in 2006, Planeta Trade Service LLC operates under the brand “Planeta Elektroniki” and is one of the most recognized retailers of consumer electronics in Kyrgyzstan. The company specializes in the wholesale and retail sale of computer equipment, audio and video systems, as well as large and small household appliances from leading global brands.
In 2025, the company demonstrated strong sales growth, which served as a basis for attracting additional financing to scale its operations and strengthen its market position.
The support provided by KICB and EBRD aims to foster private sector development and expand access to finance for businesses, contributing to sustainable economic growth in Kyrgyzstan.
