KICB strengthens financial literacy among youth as part of Global Money Week 2026

As part of Global Money Week 2026 in Kyrgyzstan, held under the theme “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow,” KICB implemented a large-scale educational initiative aimed at enhancing financial literacy among young people and building sustainable financial skills.
The Bank conducted a series of educational activities across the country, engaging students and schoolchildren in both Bishkek and the regions. The initiative covered leading educational institutions as well as KICB’s branch network, with activities taking place in Bishkek, Osh, Naryn, Jalal-Abad, Talas, Issyk-Kul region, and other parts of the country.
The program focused on practical application: participants gained essential knowledge in personal finance management, financial safety, and making informed financial decisions in today’s economic environment.

Special emphasis was placed on developing responsible financial behavior, strengthening awareness of fraud risks, and promoting a culture of responsible use of financial instruments - all of which are particularly relevant in the context of rapid digitalization of financial services.
In total, more than 17 lectures and branch tours were conducted at KICB offices and leading educational institutions nationwide.
As one of the leading financial institutions in Kyrgyzstan, KICB consistently invests in financial literacy as a key driver of sustainable economic growth and social well-being. These initiatives contribute to shaping a generation capable of making informed financial decisions and effectively managing their resources in the long term.
