KICB and the EBRD will finance the expansion of the official distributor of Toyota Motor Corporation in Kyrgyzstan
KICB has entered into a loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the expansion project of LLC Auto Center “Perekrestok”. The loan will be used to improve the company’s efficiency and increase sales turnover.
The signing ceremony for the loan agreement was attended by Nodira Mansurova, EBRD Director for the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan; Mr. Arif Ali Mahmud, Chairman of KICB; and Almaz Toygonbaev, Regional Director of the EBRD’s Production and Services Department for Central Asia and the Caucasus.
The OOO Autocenter “Perekrestok” was established in 2003 to provide car repair services and sell auto parts through a service station located in the southern part of the city of Bishkek. In 2012, the company became an authorized dealer of Toyota Motor Corporation, becoming the exclusive regional distributor for the sale of Toyota vehicles in Kyrgyzstan, and in 2020 it began selling Lexus vehicles.
Based on the company’s performance over the past year, a significant increase in sales has been observed; therefore, the company needs to increase its working capital to ensure further successful development.
