KICB invites students to participate in Kwang Young Choi scholarship competition
KICB reminds that the application process for the Kwang Young Choi Scholarship is open until August 31, 2025.
Established in 2024, the scholarship supports talented young citizens of Kyrgyzstan who aim to pursue higher or vocational education. All application requirements were published in advance on the official website. Now is the right time to submit your documents
Who is eligible:
• Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic aged 16–24;
• University applicants with ORT score of 150+;
• University/college students in 2nd–4th year with strong academic performance.
We would like to remind you that KICB established the Kwang Yang Choi Scholarship with the aim of supporting talented young Kyrgyz citizens aged 16 to 24 with disabilities, who are without parental care, socially vulnerable, and in need of financial assistance, from single-parent and large families, to cover their education expenses.
The bank aims to support talented young people by providing them with the opportunity to obtain secondary vocational and higher education and pursue their desired profession. Subject to high academic performance, the program allows for the scholarship to be extended in subsequent years.
